About Us

In 2022, Solid Ground celebrated its 15th Anniversary. Their first concert took place on February 25th, 2007 at King's Chapel in Santa Rosa, California.

Jeff Johnson found himself unable to relocate with a popular southern gospel group he was a member of and so began Solid Ground based out of Sacramento, California. Feeling that God had not released him from a call to sing gospel music, he formed Solid Ground Ministries. The group quickly became a favorite in Northern California.

Solid Ground joined the Western States Gospel Music Association as a means to associate with like minded gospel artists singing in California and the west coast. This opened up many doors for Solid Ground to be introduced to a larger audience and venues throughout the state. Solid Ground has been blessed to be supported by a large friend and fan base here in the Golden State.

Solid Ground has a strong desire to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ through high quality musical performance in churches and venues of all sizes. Singing at a variety of events, Solid Ground is comfortable singing in worship services or outdoor gatherings, partnering with those who are looking to providing great gospel music to their audience.
